Forged Brass Hook

These hand forged brass hooks are made one at a time with the smith’s special focus on the surrounding woods. Each hook is unique – knicked and knacked, bowed and bent, kind of like the bark of a tree.

Some facets may be heavily beaten, some light. Blackened patina comes from natural oxidation & a smith’s heavy rag.

As though sprouted from the tree itself, these pieces invite you to set down your robe, towel, yoga bag, canteen, amulet or what have you. You have entered a sacred place. Something is happening. And while it happens, you’ll rest easily knowing that your belongings will remain well hung.
